Another day in the NFL and yet more footage showing fans behaving badly from this past week.
On Monday Night Football, the Carolina Panthers had their home opener against the New Orleans Saints as the fan base finally got to see their number 1 overall draft pick quarterback in action.
The action, as always, wasn’t just on the field as some fans of both teams were behaving terribly in Bank of America Stadium that night.
One piece of footage showed a Panthers fan getting the worst of a beat down at the hands of a Saints fan who had to be pulled off of him. Even as the Panthers fan stumbled away, the Saints fan came back with a major haymaker that knocked the Panthers fan down as well as his girlfriend who tried to save him.
As for the game, the New Orleans Saints moved to 2-0 as they defeated the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, 20-17. As the final score indicates, this matchup did not feature two high-flying offenses that moved the ball at will.
No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young completed 22 of 33 passes for 153 yards and one touchdown and was sacked four times. His only notable drive was an 11-play, 75-yard touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter where he also converted a two-point conversion to cut the deficit to three points.
