The Arizona Cardinals have been working to find a trade for receiver DeAndre Hopkins all offseason, but no major bites have come just yet.
There are a few reasons why a deal hasn’t been made yet, and it may be due to what the Cardinals want in a return for Hopkins, while others believe the market isn’t robust for him considering his age, contract, and recent injury/suspension history.
However, his talent cannot be denied and he can transform any offense that he is in.
Former NFL cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones dropped a bombshell on “The Pat McAfee Show” regarding the future of Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
Last week, Jones said his sources told him “it’s a strong possibility” the five-time Pro Bowler will be traded to the Ravens. This week, Jones claimed that Hopkins will be dealt today or tomorrow.
“Like this week. Like Thursday,” Jones told McAfee. He added it would be either the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs.

Thursday, of course, is the first round of the NFL Draft.
Hopkins recently indicated he’d like to play for the Bills or the Chiefs, but not the Jets or the Patriots, and Bills edge rusher Von Miller said Hopkins has indicated to him he wants to play in Buffalo.
In an interview with Dave Richard of Fantasy Football Today, Hopkins sounded as if he wants to play with the Bills.
“Love the Buffalo Bills. Love everything about the organization. Love Josh Allen. You know, love Stefon Diggs. Love all those guys,” Hopkins told Richard.
The difference between the Bills and the Chiefs will be about costs. The Bills have more urgency on their side to want to add another weapon in order to upset the Chiefs in the AFC.
The Chiefs would love to add Hopkins so they could replace Tyreek Hill and even JuJu Smith-Schuster who they have both lost in back-to-back offseasons.
Hopkins is scheduled to make $19.45 million in 2023 and $14.915 million in 2024. His last 1,000-yard season was 2020 when he made his most recent of five Pro Bowls.
