The Green Bay Packers experienced some distress during Week 18 as one of their wide receivers had to be taken to a hospital after suffering a chest injury.
Romeo Doubs was reportedly coughing up blood after getting hurt during Sunday’s win against the Chicago Bears but was with the team in the locker room after the game. He remains day-to-day for the Packers’ Wild Card fixture against the Dallas Cowboys.
“Romeo Doubs went to the hospital yesterday because of his chest injury. Was back in the locker room postgame. @kuhnj30 said on the radio broadcast that he was coughing up blood. LaFleur just called Doubs day to day,” per Matt Schneidman.
Doubs had only played 11 snaps before he was forced to exit the game in the first quarter.
“It seems to be he’s doing better, but he’ll be day to day,” head coach Matt LaFleur said, via Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers’ official website.
The wideout played all 17 games for Green Bay this season, making 59 receptions for a total of 674 yards and eight touchdowns.
