Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love played hero for a fan who got stuck while driving in the Milwaukee blizzard.
Speaking to FOX 11, 20-year-old Packers fan Lucy Kurowski detailed how Love came to her aid when she was stuck while driving in a blizzard. She quickly noticed the Green Bay QB but didn’t want to bother him, but Love noticed the trouble and offered his support anyway
“I did a double take, and then I did a triple take. We made eye contact a few times but he was getting in his car, I didn’t want to bother him. He gets out of his car and he’s like, ‘Are you okay?’ And I was like, ‘Are you Jordan Love?!’ I was fangirling…couldn’t even believe it. It didn’t feel real. I was in a state of shock”
Love and Kurowski attempted to push the vehicle out of the snow, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Nonetheless, the fourth-year quarterback was more than happy to take a selfie with Kurowski, she told FOX 11.
Love has quickly won over the hearts of Packers fans, leading the team to a 9-8 finish and wild card berth in his first full year as the club’s starting quarterback, one year after replacing Aaron Rodgers as the Cheeseheads’ signal-caller.
Love’s Packers will try to upset the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys when they visit AT&T Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
