Aaron Rodgers has never been a person that fans have looked at as being normal, especially since he has been so open about the things he does and believes in.
Now, a former teammates’ revelation about his first interaction with him only reaffirms what fans already think about the Green Bay Packers quarterback.
Former Packers quarterback DeShone Kizer discussed his relationship with Rodgers in an interview with media personality Adam Breneman. While he only played for one season in a Packers uniform, he’s definitely got some stories to tell about his time with the team.
Kizer detailed that the first thing Rodgers said to him was a question on his beliefs of 9/11.
“He shut the door, and the first thing that came out of Aaron Rodgers’ mouth was ‘Do you believe in 9/11?’ What, do I believe in 9/11? Yeah, why wouldn’t I? He was like, ‘You should read up on that,'” Kizer said. “Then we just start learning up about the playbook, and I was like wow I don’t know where this is going.”
“What it ended up being was a thought experiment where he wanted me to go back and look into some of the conspiracies around it. We really bonded over that and started sharing some books, and we started talking about some other things. Some history, some business, some finance.”
Kizer then added that 9/11 conspiracy theories were just the tip of the iceberg as he dove into the moon landing and inner earth with Rodgers.

In three game appearances with Green Bay, he went 20 of 42 for 187 yards and two picks. Back in 2021, the Tennessee Titans released QB Deshone Kizer from their practice squad.
The former second-round pick of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns is just 26-years-old, so it is unknown whether he is done playing in the league or not.
As for Rodgers, he exited Green Bay’s 40-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the third quarter with what the quarterback said afterward was a rib injury and an initial fear of a punctured lung. He was X-rayed at the stadium but said it was “hard to tell on the X-rays” if he had any fractured ribs.
Earlier in the week, Rodgers revealed the thumb injury he has been playing with since Week 5 is actually a broken bone. It may be time to sit him during this lost season even though the team isn’t quite mathematically eliminated from the playoff race as of yet.
