Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers didn’t mince words when discussing his feelings on two prominent NFL insiders when it comes to their reporting in him.
For many years, ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport have been the two main FL insiders to break major news. Schefter has over 10.9 million followers on Twitter, and Rapoport is closing on on four million.
During the latest edition of “The Pat McAfee Show”, Schefter and Rapoport were brought up by the former NFL punter. McAfee stressed that Rapoport has “been good for” them, but Rodgers didn’t hold back how he feels over their reporting on him.
“I have no problem with Ian Rapoport…Schefter…I think they’re really good at their jobs. When it comes to me, they don’t know (expletive). They really don’t. They don’t have people in my inner circle who are sources, I can promise you that. And anybody who would talk to them is not in my inner circle. It’s that simple.”

Rodgers has also been the subject of trade rumors since the end of Green Bay’s season. Even if he returns to football in 2023, there is no guarantee that it’ll be with the Packers.
The four-time league MVP and future Hall of Famer plans to undergo a darkness retreat, hoping it will help him make a decision on his playing future. For now, we wait and see how the cards unfold.
