Almost two weeks ago, JJ Watt had a message for anyone who isn’t a fan of the Cardinals.
During their 37-14 win over the Cleveland Browns, the defensive end was seen on camera defending the Cardinals’ status as the only undefeated team in the NFL.
“How about instead of making excuses for why we win, maybe we’re just (expletive) better,” Watt said in the video. “… They win because of this, they win because of that… maybe we’re just a little bit (expletive) better.”
Watt, who is likely out for the season, was not playing in Thursday’s night game against the Cardinals, but what he said was certainly brought up after the Green Bay packers win.
Following Green Bay’s 24-21 win over the Cardinals on Thursday, Packers linebacker Preston Smith took to Twitter and trolled Watt for what he said.
“They keep making excuses why we keep winning maybe it’s because we’re just f——- better,”
