Football and beer go hand in hand. Whether they’re tailgating before the game, using their favorite mobile app to place bets, or waiting with bated breath as the final seconds of the game countdown, there’s a good chance NFL fans will be drinking.
Most fan bases will boast that they can outdrink their rivals, but which NFL fans drink the most?
A new study from Pickswise sent out awards for different fan bases which included which fans have the most beers per game:
According to a study conducted by Pickswise.com, Packers fans — whether on the couch, at a sports bar, or at Lambeau Field — drink an average of 6.3 beers on gamedays. That is a number that rumps every other fan base by a wide margin.
- Green Bay Packers: 6.2 beers
- Chicago Bears: 5.2 beers
- Las Vegas Raiders: 4.6 beers
- Minnesota Vikings: 4.5 beers
- Philadelphia Eagles: 4.1 beers
“Consuming an average of 6.3 beers a game, followers of the Pack have drunk their way into our MVP award for Most Beers Per Game.”
An average NFL game is around three hours and that is not even speaking of people who tailgate hours before, so there is just so much time for people to get their drink on, and nobody does it better or more than Packers fans.
