Before Odell Beckham Jr. took his talents to the Los Angeles Rams, he had the Green Bay Packers in his sights. However, the franchise was said to not be that ‘aggressive’ in pursuing him, despite OBJ’s interest in catching passes from Aaron Rodgers.
According to reports, Beckham would have likely signed with the Packers…if they had at least given him a competitive offer (which they didn’t).
Odell pretty much chose the Rams because they brought out all the stops to show they wanted to sign him, while the Packers did not do the same. The former Browns wide receiver wants to feel wanted, and obviously he felt much more love from the Rams.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur wanted Odell on the roster, but the front office only wanted to offer him the veteran minimum.

When Packers fans found out about this information, all hell broke loose online:
Odell Beckham Jr. joins a high-powered offense led by quarterback Matthew Stafford and adds to a depth chart at the position that already includes Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods and Van Jefferson.
Beckham signed a one-year deal with the Rams. After he was released by the Browns last Friday, Beckham went unclaimed and passed through waivers on Tuesday, which allowed him to sign with a team of his choice.
For his former team, Cleveland is entering Week 10 in third place in the AFC North with a record of 5-4.
In a little more than two seasons with the Browns, Beckham played in 29 games and recorded 114 catches for 1,586 yards and seven touchdowns. He only played 13 games over the last two seasons because of injuries.
