Aaron Rodgers not wanting to play for the Green Bay Packers anymore is hurting a superstar NBA player.
Ahead of the NFL Draft, ESPN’s Adam Schefter dropped major information about Aaron Rodgers not wanting to be in uniform with the team going forward. Other reports have him threatening retirement, unless general manager Brian Gutekunst gets shown his walking papers. If Green Bay trades Rodgers after June 1, the team will save over $16 million in salary cap room.
Anthony Davis, who is an avid Packers fan, is so hurt by the situation that he didn’t even want to talk about it during a recent live game stream.
“Man, I don’t want to talk about Aaron Rodgers right now, yo,” Davis said on the stream. “C’mon chat, don’t do that to me chat. I thought we were better than that man.
“You all know how I feel about that. But if anybody understands, chat, you know I understand.”
Despite being a native of Chicago, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar wore an Aaron Rodgers jersey to a Packers-Seattle Seahawks game at Lambeau Field just last season.
