There’s no beef between Davante Adams and Odell Beckham Jr. The two are friends off the field. But there’s clearly still a competitive nature between the two star wideouts.
It’s no secret that OBJ’s first choice was to join the Packers once he became a free agent earlier this year. His desire to play in Green Bay was largely tied to his relationship with Adams. However, it never came to be after the Packers refused to meet Beckham’s contract demands.
Beckham would go on to join the Rams, and it just so happens that the two teams squared off today in an NFC heavyweight tilt at Lambeau Field.
The Packers emerged victorious, 36-28, and after the game, Davante Adams decided to gift Odell Beckham his jersey…with a special message:
For those who are unaware, Adams is referring to the their Wild Card meeting back on January 8, 2017, when Beckham was still a member of the New York Giants.

The Packers destroyed Beckham’s G-Men, with the star wideout managing just four catches for 28 yards on 11 targets in the 38-13 loss. After the game, a frustrated OBJ reportedly punched a hole in the wall of the visiting team’s locker room — hence Adams’ joke asking him not to do it again.
Seeing as how Beckham actually managed to have himself a decent game today, with five catches for 81 yard and a touchdown, chances are the visitors’ locker room at Lambeau was safe this time around.
