Blake Bortles needs a new home.
On Tuesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reported that now that Aaron Rodgers is back on board with the team, Bortles has been released as a result.
Bortles caught on with the Rams on a one-year, $1 million deal for the 2019 season and signed on with the Broncos last year. This past May, he was signed to the Packers after the hoopla surrounding Aaron Rodgers demanding to be traded.
For his career, Bortles has appeared in 78 games and completed 59.3 percent of his passes for 17,649 yards, 103 touchdowns and 75 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,766 yards and eight touchdowns.
His last full season of work was in 2018 when he threw for 2,718 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions as a member of the Jags.
