When Tom Brady made his retirement announcement earlier today, everyone who read his lengthy message on Instagram seemed to notice one obvious omission: The New England Patrots.
Brady didn’t once take even a single sentence to mention the Patriots players, coaching staff, front office, or the fans!

Today, after Brady left the Pats our of his announcement, Thompson reiterated his beliefs regarding Tom’s plans for the Patriots and his retirement.
This would make a ton of sense, as Brady never seemed to have any hard feelings for the people of New England. And it would see unlikely that a class act like his would totally ignore the franchise he spent over 90 percent of his career with.
Based on Thompson’s analysis, you can expect to see Brady join the Patriots one more time in the coming days, before he officially rides off into the sunset.
