If you gave up on the Los Angeles Chargers pretty early on during their Divisional Round game against the New England Patriots today, you’re not alone.
Online sportsbook BetOnline had completely given up on the Chargers during the first half. Seriously.
With more than half a game still left to play, BetOnline was already posting odds for the AFC championship game between the Pats and Chiefs:
And they took the Chargers completely off their odds list for possible Super Bowl matchups:
In the end, BetOnline and everyone else who wrote the Chargers off early on were right. The Patriots are going to win, and it’s not even close.
