The Detroit Lions haven’t had a winning season since 2017, and not many fans expect that to change in 2022.
With an easier schedule in terms of opponents’ strength and travel distance, the Lions could very well double their win total from 2021 this year.
Because of that, bettors around the country are dropping a ton of money on the Lions to secure more than 6 wins. According to Max Meyer of Caesars Sportsbook, “The most popular NFL wager by handle in July at [Caesars] has been… Lions OVER 6 wins.”
Dan Campbell has also drawn the most money to win NFL Coach of the Year, and running back D’Andre Swift is the popular pick to lead the league in rushing yards, Caesars reports.
Noting, “Additionally, Dan Campbell has drawn the most money overall to win Coach of the Year and D’Andre Swift has drawn the most money overall to lead the NFL in rushing yards.”
Last season, the team finished 3-13-1, but the team fought hard in every single contest and suffered some heartbreaking last-second losses.

Jared Goff also finished the season in a positive way. His last five games saw him complete 69.6% of his passes for 1,136 yards, 11 touchdowns, and two interceptions.
