The New England Patriots lost to the rival Miami Dolphins on Sunday in an ugly start to their 2022 season.
The 24-year-old Mac Jones was sacked twice and had two turnovers in the Patriots’ sloppy 20-7 loss to the Fins. It was the sophomore quarterback’s first game starting with senior assistant Matt Patricia serving as the offensive play-caller.
All in all, Jones went 21 of 30 for 213 yards, one touchdown, and one interception Sunday.
The performance by Jones and the rest of the Patriots on the field was enough for the fan base to call for Bill Belichick to be fired.
