The New England Patriots played one of the worst offensive games in modern history when they and the New York Jets combined to kick 17 punts in a game that wouldn’t be decided until the very last punt of the game. Go figure.
The final one proved to be the most pivotal when Marcus Jones returned a punt 84 yards for a touchdown with five seconds remaining in the game.
The Jets had not beaten the Patriots in any of their last 13 matchups and that punt return would make it an even number at 14.
The regular view was just fine, but then we got an epic on-field camera that showed the return as well as the reaction from the over 60,000 Patriots fans in Foxboro that made it so much better.
To add insult to injury, the replay shows a few missed blocks in the back that should have negated the touchdown score.

New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones completed 23-of-27 pass attempts for 246 yards in Sunday’s 10-3 win over the New York Jets. He wasn’t asked to do much in a defensive battle and failed to throw a touchdown pass for the first time since Week 7.
The Patriots survived in a 10-3 win to move to 5-4 while the Jets fall to 6-3.
