Coming into the 2019 season, it seemed like Freddie Kitchens had everything in front of him to turn this Cleveland Browns franchise around after they ended the 2018 season on a high note.
It was said that Kitchens had a strong relationship with quarterback Baker Mayfield, and that was a big reason why he was hired, but an old video popped up on Twitter that seems to prove otherwise.
The clip shows Mayfield calling Kitchens an “idiot’ during a sideline moment where Kitchens could be seen messing with Mayfield’s beard.
That could’ve very well been just a joke, but it makes you wonder now that Kitchens has since been fired after a terrible first season as the head coach.
