An old photo of J.J. Watt and Antonio Brown has been doing the rounds on social media this week, with the former having played the final NFL game of his career in Week 18.
Watt has retired from pro football after an impressive 11-year career that, sadly, did not include a Super Bowl win. Brown, meanwhile, is a Super Bowl champion and remains a free agent, though there won’t be many teams willing to take him on board given his recent controversial history.
Both players suited up for Central Michigan as freshmen in 2007 and went on to become two of the best players at wide receiver and defensive end in the history of the game. Watt, who played as a tight end for Central Michigan, would later leave for the University of Wisconsin, where he would convert to defense.
The photo, shown below, resurfaced on Twitter this week.
It’s gotten rave reactions from fans…

Both Watt and AB have carved out Hall of Fame-worthy careers, though the latter is making it harder and harder for him to get there almost every week. If we’re talking straight statistics, he’s definitely going in.
