O.J. Simpson is not happy about a person killing another human being and getting such a short sentence.
Who had this moment on their 2023 bingo card?
Simpson recently expressed his inability to understand the sentencing differences for two cases held at the same courthouse, addressing his own past conviction and that of former Raiders WR, Henry Ruggs.
Henry Ruggs was sentenced Wednesday to a term of 3 to 10 years following a tragic wreck where he drove at speeds exceeding 156 MPH under the influence. The accident took the life of 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her dog.
Ruggs could be free by the age of 27 if he is granted parole at the earliest opportunity.
Speaking to social media, Simpson, posted a video trying to make sense of the sentencing Ruggs received versus his own.
“Driving at such a high speed, taking innocent lives, and then only receiving 3 to 10 years?”

“I know I went to college on a football scholarship but somehow this math is not adding up to me. You’re driving a car at roughly 160 miles per hour on a public street and end up killing a girl and her dog and you get three to ten years?”, O.J. asked rhetorically.
“You go to a hotel room that you’re invited to retrieve your own personal stolen property, property I now have because it was ruled to be mine by the state of California, and you get nine to 33 years?”
Simpson got sentenced to a possible 33-year sentence in 2007 when he entered a Palace Hotel station with a gun, looking to retrieve memorabilia from his playing days.
Many people think he got such a harsh penalty because of his acquittal in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Simpson served nine years of that prison sentence and earned parole in 2017.
Here’s how social media reacted to his wild comments:
