Ohio State Buckeyes star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. just dropped a major hint on which team he wants to land with in next month’s NFL Draft.
The son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison, Harrison Jr. is widely expected to be the first wide receiver taken in the 2024 NFL Draft. It’s widely assumed that quarterbacks Caleb Williams (USC), Jayden Daniels (LSU) and Drake Maye (North Carolina) will be the first three draft picks.
Arizona has the No. 4 selection in this month’s draft, and you’ve probably seen a million mock drafts with the Cardinals taking Marvin Harrison Jr. fourth overall. But as picked up by Dov Kleiman on X/Twitter, Harrison Jr.’s recent social media activity suggests that the second-generational wideout would like to land with the Los Angeles Chargers at No. 5 overall:
Both the Chargers and Cardinals have a pressing need for wide receiver help. Los Angeles traded six-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen to the Chicago Bears last week and released veteran star Mike Williams (signed with the New York Jets) in a cap-saving move.
The Cardinals also lost their No. 1 WR of 2023, Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency. So it’d be a giant surprise if they didn’t use the No. 4 pick on a wide receiver, especially Marvin Harrison Jr. is available there.

Marvin Harrison Jr. & Justin Herbert Would Be A Dynamic Tandem
There’s a high chance that the Chargers would have to trade up if they were to snag Marvin Harrison Jr. over the Cardinals. But if they can somehow make it happen, a Harrison Jr.-Justin Herbert combo would be downright explosive.
Whether it comes via trade or free agency, the Chargers have to rebuild the receiving room if Herbert is to bounce back under Jim Harbaugh. And getting a generational WR talent like Harrison Jr. would go a long way in helping the Bolts regain their top form on offense.
