Ohio State Buckeyes star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has poured cold water over a rumor that he was looking to transfer to USC.
During an appearance on “The Roosters Report” (h/t BroBible), Jeremy Birmingham of Rivals.com shared a response he received from Harrison Jr. regarding the USC transfer speculation.
“I did ask Marvin Harrison a very important question. I asked him when he’s packing his stuff to transfer to USC. And he said, and I quote, ‘Where the [bleep] do they come up with this stuff?'”
Harrison Jr., the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Indianapolis Colts legend Marvin Harrison, helped the Buckeyes to a final four appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
The Buckeyes dropped a heartbreaker to the defending champion Georgia Bulldogs by a final score of 42-41. The Bulldogs will face the TCU Horned Dogs in Monday’s national championship game.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Harrison Jr. racked up 77 receptions for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns in the 2022 season. At this rate, he’s a safe bet to be one of the first wide receivers taken in the 2024 NFL Draft.
