Shortly after the LSU Tigers defeated the Clemson Tigers in dominating fashion on Monday night, some of the layers wanted to celebrate by smoking a cigar, but ran into a problem.
A police officer with the Mercedes-Benz Superdome told LSU football players celebrating their national championship win in the team’s locker room Monday to extinguish their victory cigars because it was against building policy.
For some reason, Odell Beckham Jr. felt the need to smack that cop on the butt. That cop could be seen turning around in anger, but opted to do nothing about what just happened. As it turned out, he had a reaction in mind, but he thought better of it.

By Thursday morning, police had obtained a warrant to arrest the Cleveland Browns wide receiver on a count of simple battery, thrusting the mercurial football star into another controversy stemming from his actions during the title game.”
News of the warrant added on to head-shaking behavior Odell did on that night as video circulated of him handing out what appeared to be cash to LSU players on the field after Monday night’s game.
LSU thought it might have been fake money, but later confirmed it was real.
