Odell Beckham Jr. is ready to play football again, and it appears he already has the team he wants to head to.
After a full year of rehab, as he recovered from a torn ACL in the Super Bowl while playing for the Rams, the veteran pass catcher is ready to return to the field in 2023.
ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler said on Friday that Odell “would love to play in Dallas” this coming season.
“He’s a perfect personality fit. He’s a massive star, the Cowboys are America’s Team,” Fowler said on Get Up. “It makes too much sense.”
Late last year, the Cowboys and Odell flirted with a signing, but both sides ultimately decided not to as Odell wouldn’t be ready to go until the playoffs. Putting him into the lineup at such an important time could’ve screwed up team chemistry. In the end, the Cowboys could’ve really used him as they got eliminated in the divisional round of the playoffs by the 49ers for the second-straight year.
Aside from being courted by the Cowboys, Odell also visited with the Giants and Bills.
