Despite adding several pieces at the position in recent days, the New York Giants might have one more spot for an old friend.
Odell Beckham Jr. met with the New York Giants last year, contacted his agent at the NFL combine, and then later attended his public workout in Arizona. Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News then added that the team is still in the running for him despite other reports.
“Hey Giants fans, guess what? They’re still in the mix for Odell Beckham,” Leonard said.
The free agent WR would then add more fuel to the fire shortly after that report, tweeting at running back Saquon Barkley and telling him to have Giants general manager Joe Schoen call his agent.
Beckham would then imply a team was trying o shortchange him in free agency. He did not allude to who that team was. It may be the reason why he’s trying to go back to the Giants.

For now, it appears the pairing is a pipe dream as it remains unlikely the Giants would drop a big-money contract on Beckham. After acquiring tight end Darren Waller in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, the Giants signed former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell and retained wideout Darius Slayton.
According to ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio, Beckham is seeking to make $20 million a year on his next contract. Just maybe he would give them a hometown discount. If not, OBJ will be signing elsewhere.
The three-time Pro Bowler missed the 2022 season due to a torn ACL suffered in Super Bowl 56, but he recently impressed a ton of teams at a workout in Arizona last week.
