Odell Beckham Jr. might be out in Las Vegas, because the way he has been tweeting lately, he seems to be a bit tipsy.
Disgruntled wide receiver Deebo Samuel has yet to publicly explain why he’s seeking to be traded from the San Francisco 49ers, but it appears he recently opened up to a friend. Free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tweeted that he “got the tea” from Samuel amid the ongoing trade rumors.
On Saturday, Odell took to Twitter and falsely announced that Deebo was headed to the New England Patriots.
“Breakinnnngg NEWSSS @19problemz to the @Patriots WTFFFFFFFFFFFF,” Beckham Jr. wrote in a tweet.
Multiple NFL analysts have debunked OBJ’s report.

While Beckham started a fire on social media, Samuel didn’t seem amused with the Pro Bowl wideout’s decision to speak on his trade status.
“At this point bruh bored”
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport noted that San Francisco turned down trade offers from the New York Jets and Detroit Lions for Samuel.
The Jets reportedly offered the 49ers the 10th pick as part of their package. The franchise would eventually move on and select Ohio State receiver Garrett Wilson.
Thanks to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay has also been linked to Samuel. Rodgers said this Thursday on the Pat McAfee Show:
“There’s not a lot of teams that probably want to trade receivers to Green Bay, so I think we’re probably at the back of the line for a lot of these teams,” he said. “But at the same time, I think if you’re not going to pay Davante — obviously, we traded him, he wanted to move on — but going out and paying another guy, I don’t know if that makes a ton of sense … I feel like we’ve been in the mix but does San Francisco really want to trade Deebo Samuel to us?”
