There will not be a second act of Odell Beckham Jr in Baltimore.
The Baltimore Ravens will formally release Beckham with a post-June 1 designation after restructuring his contract in January.
Now that his career with the Ravens is nearly over, Odell is reportedly clear that he wants to take his talents to the Kansas City Chiefs. The team doesn’t have much cap space to work with but OBJ just might give them a team-friendly deal just so he could play alongside Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Beckham signed a one-year deal worth up to $18 million last offseason and finished up his first and only year with the team with 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
The Ravens went 13-4, which earned the AFC’s No. 1 seed before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game at M&T Bank Stadium.
