NFL insider Jordan Schultz is breaking the internet today when he reported that Odell Beckham Jr. has prioritized the Green Bay Packers as his No. 1 destination should he clear waivers.
It’s already been reported that Beckham would like to play on a contending team with a talented QB.
Beckham was officially waived by the Browns on Monday and it’s considered likely that he goes unclaimed given he’d cost a team $7.25 million otherwise.
What remains unclear is if the Packers are even interested in signing him. However, it would be insane to pass up a wide receiver duo of Davante Adams and Odell Beckham Jr. It would be one of the deadliest pairings the league has ever seen.
The Saints, Seahawks, and 49ers have also been mentioned as potential landing spots for Beckham.
In 2021, Beckham has appeared in six games for the Browns and caught 17 of 34 targets for 232 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
