The Baltimore Ravens enter Week 6 with a 3-2 record despite an inconsistent offense that has averaged a mere 21.8 points per game.
New offensive coordinator Todd Monken was brought in to implement a heavier passing game for Lamar Jackson and company. The Ravens signed veterans Nelson Agholor and Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency and used their first-round pick on Boston College speedster Zay Flowers.
So far, however, Baltimore hasn’t gotten much out of their $15 million investment in OBJ. The 30-year-old has just seven catches for 79 yards and no touchdowns in three games.
With the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline looming closer, the Ravens should be ready to cut their losses and trade Beckham. And there’s one club in the NFC that especially stands out as a potential landing spot for the three-time Pro Bowler.
That would be Beckham’s old team, the Los Angeles Rams, who enter Week 6 with a 2-3 record. They suffered close losses to the powerhouse 49ers, Bengals and Eagles, but all were decided by just one score.

LA could use another weapon to complement Cooper Kupp and rookie sensation Puka Nacua, and why not Beckham? He played an instrumental role in their Super Bowl 56 championship season and formed terrific chemistry with Matthew Stafford.
Given his high salary for 2023, the Rams could probably get Beckham from the Ravens for the bargain price. A 2024 fifth-round draft pick should be enough to get the deal done.
Baltimore would clear Beckham’s hefty salary while giving him the chance to regain his star-like form on his old team. It would simply be a win-win for all three parties.
