After a 2019 season that fell short of expectations, the Cleveland Browns are looking to rebound this fall. That will only happen if quarterback Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham Jr. are on the same page.
Judging by the below play by the tandem, the offense could be quite scary if this happens on a regular.
In a video tweeted out by the Browns, Mayfield drops back and throws a rocket downfield to OBJ who was double covered. It didn’t matter as he jumped up and came down with the ball.
In 2019, Mayfield completed 59.4 percent of his passes for 3,827 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions. Beckham, meanwhile, caught 74 passes for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns.
