Odell Beckham Jr. and Marlon Humphrey are now set to be teammates following the Baltimore Ravens’ acquisition of the star wide receiver.
Beckham has agreed to join the team on a one-year deal worth up to $18 million and Humphrey was quick to welcome him despite their on-field fight from four years ago.
A video of the incident has resurfaced in the wake of the development, you could check it out right below:
The receiver and cornerback ended up in a scuffle when they lined up against each other in 2019. OBJ, who was playing for the Cleveland Browns back then, appeared to throw a punch at Humphrey. They ended up on the ground before teammates and officials rushed in to separate.
Both players were hit with a penalty during the game and would incur fines from the NFL thereafter.
Humphrey took to Twitter to welcome Beckham on the back of Sunday’s announcement. Prior to that, he predicted the Super Bowl winner would be joining the team.

After their altercation in 2019, Beckham said he was upset at having lost an earring. Humphrey claimed to have apologized to him right after the game.
“I ran into him after the game and apologized. That’s not really the brand of football I want to represent. [After] the whistle blows, it’s got to be over with,” he said. “I don’t think he did [give an apology], but I definitely told the refs they should have ejected him.”
