According to ESPN, wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr. would like to narrow his list of teams down to five, and they are some heavy hitters. Beckham Jr. is hoping to sign with a team by the end of the month and he wants to play for a contender.
The teams include the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Giants. As expected, every team is playing exceptionally well this year and all have playoff and Super Bowl aspirations.
Beckham is believed to prefer a warm-weather team, which may eliminate the Giants, Chiefs, and Bills.
The two-time All-Pro is ready to play and has been cleared for all activities.
The belief is that Odell wants a multi-year contract on a team that is both contending now and will in the future. This next contract is likely to be the final one that will take him into retirement.
Beckham saw the wide receiver market explode this past offseason as he began rehabbing from his ACL surgery. After getting cut by the Browns, he saw a career resurgence as he reminded people he still had something left in the tank with his performance with the Rams.
