Cam Newton is still technically part of the Carolina Panthers franchise, but the team has already gave his agent permission to seek trades and they’ve said their goodbyes already. He will be moving on whether by trade or getting released.
Teddy bridgewater will be taking over after the franchise inked him to a lucrative three-year deal.
However, there has been a lack of interest from other teams that has many assuming he will be cut soon.
According to The Action Network, the Washington Redskins (-105) are well ahead of the field of teams that are favored to land him. After that is the Miami Dolphins (+260), New England Patriots (+340) and Jacksonville Jaguars (+750) trailing.

Washington is expected to take Chase Young with the No. 2 overall pick, so adding Cam Newton would be very ideal. The team doesn’t seem so sold on having Dwayne Haskins take over the franchise going forward.
