It appears the relationship between the Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson has gone haywire.
The Baltimore Ravens were reportedly not committed to a long-term future with star quarterback Lamar Jackson, according to ESPN’s NFL insider Jeremy Fowler. We now know why they felt that way because the former league MVP requested a trade earlier in March, which he exposed on Monday during a letter to his fans.
This may get teams to start offering him deals, or at least calling the Ravens to see what they want for the former MVP. It’s been weeks since the team placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on Jackson, and yet not a single team has come in with an offer sheet. Even if he agreed to an offer sheet with another club, the Ravens could match it or receive two first-round picks in return.
In the meantime, a sportsbooks has now sent how odds on teams that could see Lamar Jackson as their new starting quarterback.
Last week, the NFL warned teams in a memo that they are permitted to negotiate only with Jackson because he does not have an NFLPA-certified agent.

It has been reported Jackson turned down an offer from Baltimore that included $133 million guaranteed at signing, $175 million guaranteed for injury and $200 million in total guarantees if he’s on the roster on the fifth day of the 2026 league year.
The $200 million would rank second behind Deshaun Watson.
Jackson’s playmaking ability has made the Ravens one of the most successful teams over the past five seasons. He has a record of 45-16.
