Elon Musk is now in control of Twitter.
Musk has completed his $44 billion deal to buy Twitter and he wasted no time making changes. Musk fired CEO Parag Agrawal and two other executives. They were said to be the people responsible for kicking Donald Trump off of the platform.
Musk appeared to acknowledge the takeover in a tweet Thursday night saying, “the bird is freed.”
On Friday morning, former Buffalo Bills running back O.J. Simpson took to the site and lobbied to get his account verified, which currently has over 880,000 followers. However, he has never had that blue check mark.
After speaking about that, Simpson then dove into speaking about Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs performance on Thursday Night Football.
