For much of the country, this is going to be disappointing news.
Former NFL running back O.J. Simpson, who was infamously accused of murdering his ex-wife and her friend, Ron Goldman, spoke out in response to rumors about his health situation.
Rumors surfaced that Simpson had suffered a heart attack. RadarOnline.com dropped the news he was fighting for his life and had a stent placed in his heart during emergency surgery.
“My heart is giving out,” O.J. confided to a friend, who allegedly told Radar Online. O.J.’s former manager, Norm Pardo, even reportedly stated the former running back has been in and out of the hospital.
“The doctors want him to rest at home because there isn’t much they can do for him.”
To everyone’s disappointment, Simpson appears to be just fine.
He took to Twitter and shot down rumors.

“I didn’t realize I had a heart attack until I read it in the news today,” he said.
In the initial report, his former manager added: “Now he can’t even finish a round of golf – I don’t even think he golfs anymore because he can’t even finish a half a round of golf two months ago when I was talking to him.”
In the video above, Simpson could be seen in his golfing gear and on the course playing a round.
In 2007, Simpson was convicted after leading five men into an armed robbery in Las Vegas. He was released in 2017 after being originally sentenced to 33 years in prison.
Simpson played in the NFL for 11 seasons and was one of the defining stars of his generation. He won the coveted MVP award in 1973, a year he also claimed the Comeback Player of the Year award.
