The Steelers loss to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night and O.J. Simpson had a lot to say about it.
O.J. Simpson on Friday gave the world his take on the Steelers in a video posted on Twitter.
Simpson broke down why the Steelers’ offense is bad with Mitchell Trubisky and the team should be starting Kenny Pickett.
“I don’t see these guys being inspired by their quarterback play,” Simpson said. “I don’t know what Kenny Pickett is able to do, but I’m willing to bet anybody that he’ll score more than four touchdowns in the next three games.”
“[The] problem is Pittsburgh isn’t going to win any 14-10 games. They’re gonna have to score points to win, and I just don’t see that happening with Trubisky.”
Pittsburgh managed just 54 yards on its first three possessions in the second half.

“We’re getting there, just not where it needs to be,” said Trubisky, who finished 20 of 32 for 207 yards. “We didn’t hit on the plays we needed to in the second half. Scoring three points in the second half isn’t going to do it for us.”
Simpson might be a controversial figure, but even Steelers fans would agree that a change should be made and they made that clear by chanting for the rookie to play the previous week.
After the game, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin seemed like a man who planned to stick with Trubisky. Tomlin was asked if he’s considering any major lineup changes for next week.
“I’m not in that mindset,” said Tomlin, who was not specifically asked about his quarterbacks. “I’m interested in reviewing this tape and looking at the totality of it and figuring out how we collectively get better. I will answer that question definitely no.”
