A heads-up New York Giants fan has a career in fortune telling, if he so desires.
Before the Giants’ season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, Connor Hughes of SNY posted a video of Saquon Barkley’s pre-game outfit.
Unimpressed by it, podcaster Nick Dais tweeted at 5:14 p.m. EST that his beloved Giants would lose by 40 points. And sure enough, the Giants were humiliated by their longtime rivals by a final score of 40-0.
It’s unbelievable that Dais’ friendly joke here actually turned out to be one hundred percent accurate. The man must have access to a crystal ball of some sort?
Everything that could go wrong for the Giants did, in fact, go wrong. Their promising opening game drive resulted in a Graham Gano field goal attempt that was blocked and returned 58 yards by Noah Igbinoghene for a Dallas touchdown.

Daniel Jones struggled mightily in the rain with 15 completions on 28 attempts foe 104 yards and two interceptions. He was sacked seven times, while running back Saquon Barkley mustered just 51 yards on 12 carries.
The good news for the Giants? There’s simply nowhere to go but up. It simply doesn’t get worse than a 40-point loss at home to a heated rival on national television. New York will try to avoid an 0-2 start when they visit the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
