Noah Lyles solidified himself as one of the fastest men in the world when he took home the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the 100-meter race. However, star wide receiver Tyreek Hill thinks he could beat Lyles in a race.
“Noah Lyles can’t say nothing after what’s just happened to him, then he wants to come out and pretend he’s sick… just speak on what you know about, and that’s track,” Hill said in an interview with Kay Adams. “I would beat Noah Lyles.”
Lyles has fired back, saying, “What’s the cheetah guy from football? Well, I can’t remember his name,” in response.
Many online are upset with Lyles, pretending not to know who Hill is.
“Disingenuous behavior is pathetic. He know damn well who Tyreek hill is smh,” said one commenter.
“He is the guy whose net worth is 100x yours and is actually recognized in public,” another said.

“This is his only hope to remain relevant until the 2028 Olympics, can’t blame the guy,” added a third.
Lyle’s recent beef with Hill is just the latest in a series of problems with professional athletes. He previously called out NBA players for calling themselves “world champions” after winning the NBA Finals.
Noah Lyles Set To Ompete In 2028 Summer Olympics
Even though Lyles tested positive for COVID-19, which potentially cost him the gold medal in the men’s 200-meter finals, he will be returning in 2028 for another chance.
“He’s going to be really good through LA at least, and then we’ll see what happens after that,” his coach Lance Brauman said. “I just need him to keep doing what he’s doing.”
Another strong outing in 2028 could be exactly what Lyles needs to silence everyone who has trashed his performance in 2024.
