We’re officially at the point in the football season where there are NFL games four days a week.
With the addition of Saturday NFL football, the schedule has changed a bit. It led to NBC’s Blackledge calling his first NFL game in 23 years this weekend.
Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge were on call for the Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16. The announcer duo replaced Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico because they called the prime-time Peacock-exclusive game between the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Chargers.
As many are well aware, Eagle and Blackledge are normally a part of NBC’s Big Ten prime-time team but the College Football regular season is over as we are deep into the playing of bowl games.
Fans absolutely love them calling the game between the Steelers and Bengals.
