Just under an hour after FedEx released a statement about the Washington Redskins changing their name, now another major sponsorship is making their stance clear.
At Nike.com, there’s no sign of any merchandise bearing the name or logo of the Washington franchise.

It was just earlier this week when investment firms and shareholders worth a collective $620 billion asked Nike, FedEx and PepsiCo to terminate sponsorships with the Washington Redskins.
The report by Adweek says three different letters signed by 87 investment firms and shareholders were addressed last week to the three major corporations.
It appears that two of them have listened and are putting major pressure on Washington to change their name.
