Cam Newton says he is not finished just yet. That was his message in a released video on Monday as he stated he would hold a throwing session at Auburn’s Pro Day.
In an 11-year NFL career, Cam Newton developed a reputation for being one of the league’s most fun quarterbacks. It hasn’t been so fun watching him on the field the last few years, but he’s trying to to show that he still has it.
Cam Newton, who has not thrown a pass in an NFL game since December 2021, now is getting his name attached to a promiment team in the league.
Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright thinks Newton should come back, but as a backup to Patrick Mahomes.
“Cam, come to Kansas City. It makes perfect sense,” Wright said.
Newton was the New England Patriots’ starter in 2020 and made five starts for the Panthers after returning to the organization during the 2021 campaign.

He may be faced with reality really soon.
