Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts did not participate in team practice this Wednesday, missing the walkthrough with an injured shoulder that kept him out of last week’s clash against the Dallas Cowboys.
However, head coach Nick Sirianni refuses to rule him out of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints and had a very good explanation for reporters.
Sirianni pointed out that the QB’s body heals faster than that of members of the press in the most comical fashion, letting them know that anything they can do, Hurts can do better.
Check it out in the video below:
Sirianni also insisted that Hurts is a lot better than he was at this point last week.
“Yeah, we’ll see. We’ll continue to see how he progresses throughout the week,” the head coach remarked. “Does he have a chance? Of course he does, because his body just knows how to heal. He’s a freak. We’ll see what happens as the week progresses.”

One Win Away
The Eagles are one win away from clinching the top seed in the NFC, which would leave them with home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Should Hurts not be able to suit up, the Eagles have a very dependable backup QB in Gardner Minshew, who had an impressive performance during Saturday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys and is more than capable of getting the job done as the starting signal caller.
