Super Bowl media week means players and coaches are going to get some smart questions about the game, but also some questions that make them stare in disbelief.
Everybody is well aware that the Super Bowl is a must-win game for the two teams involved.
A reporter asked Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni if he considers the Super Bowl 57 encounter with the Kansas City Chiefs a must-win game.
“Is this a must-win game?” a reporter yelled.
“Yeah,” Sirianni flatly responded.
The head coach quickly answered and then turned his head to speak to somebody else. It’s a pretty safe assumption that any NFL coach on the brink of leading their team to a Lombardi trophy isn’t going to accept defeat before kickoff.
Sirianni handled the bizarre question about as good as someone could.
