A soon-to-be professional NFL offensive tackle gained close to 10 pound in a buffet eating contest.
Old Dominion offensive tackle Nick Saldiveri and four other offensive linemen took part in an all-you-can-meat buffet contest. Whoever gained the most weight from the competition would be deemed the winner.
Olu Oluwatimi (Michigan Wolverines), Jaelyn Duncan (Maryland), Peter Skoronski (Northwestern) and Steve Avila (TCU) were the other four competitors.
In a video posted by the FOX Sports NFL Twitter account, you can see the players weighing themselves, followed by clips of them enjoying delicious meat-based meals. The five players weigh themselves at the end again to reveal how much weight they gained from the all buffet.
The winner wound up being Saldiveri. He gained 9.5 pounds (317.4 to 326.9) from the special all-you-can-meat eating contest, and Skoronski was second with 6.7 pounds gained.
Duncan finished third with six pounds gained, and Oluwatimi added five more. Avila didn’t gain a single pound after weighing himself.
