The teams were different, the jerseys were different, but it was the same outcome as the Super Bowl they played against each other. Much like that game, Tom Brady still wouldn’t shake Nick Foles’ hand after being handed another loss.
Brady, who was widely criticized after running off the field at U.S. Bank Stadium without shaking Foles’ hand after the Eagles beat the Patriots in Super Bowl LII, did it again Thursday night after Foles led the Bear past Brady’s Buccaneers at Soldier Field.
On Friday morning, Foles spoke with Dan Patrick about the snub.
“I didn’t realize the camera was on me…I was looking for him real quick,” Foles said via Andrew Perloff of the Dan Patrick Show. “We’ll find a time down the road.”
To be fair, the NFL has outlawed that and any other non-distancing interaction after games.
“No, didn’t get a chance to say anything to him,” Foles said on Fox after the game. “Sure sometime we’ll catch up but, you know, we’re trying to keep our distance.”

The win was Foles’ first as the Bears’ starting quarterback and his first win as a starting quarterback since he beat the Bears on the same field in a 2018 wild-card game.
