Football fans offered prayers and messages of support for Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb following the latest injury update on the 27-year-old.
Chubb suffered a gruesome season-ending injury back in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. Chubb was carted off, and ESPN refused to broadcast the replay of the worrisome injury.
It was later confirmed that Chubb tore the MCL in his left knee and suffered damage to the ACL as well. On Tuesday afternoon, the Browns announced that Chubb underwent a second surgery to repair his ACL, and that he’s expected to be back for the 2024 season.

With Chubb out for the year, Jerome Ford has stepped up as Cleveland’s temporary starting running back. Ford has been up for the challenge, alright, with 532 rushing yards and two touchdowns to go along with 21 receptions for 141 yards and two receiving scores.
Cleveland also brought back Kareem Hunt, who went unsigned throughout the offseason after spending the previous four years with the club. Hunt has 228 rushing yards and six touchdowns in seven games.
The Browns are off to a surprising 6-3 start and in position to lock down their second playoff berth in four years. They enter Week 11 just half a game behind the Baltimore Ravens (7-3) for the top record in the AFC North.
