Last Sunday, Nick Bosa and the rest of his 49ers teammates traveled to Tampa Bay to face off against the Buccaneers.
Of course, Bosa has been making major headlines for his huge support of now president-elect Donald Trump.
However, he brought that to a new high on Sunday during a sack celebration after taking down Baker Mayfield.
Bosa had just been fined $11,255 for wearing a MAGA hat while interrupting a postgame interview with Brock Purdy after the team’s win against the Dallas Cowboys.
This dance certainly wasn’t helping his likeability with those who found the hat incident disrespectful.
However, he has now spoken out about his dance.

“I think you know the answer to that question,” Bosa said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “All the guys wanted me to do it. I wasn’t even going to do it, but the boys reminded me. And it was fun.”
His head coach, Kyle Shanahan, even commented on the situation
“If you watch them, Leonard Floyd, when Bosa got the sack, Leonard Floyd started doing it, and then Trump did it, I mean, sorry, Bosa did it,” Shanahan said on KNBR. “And then Sam O did it and then Fred came in at the end and did it. Leonard egged them all on, and then they followed, and it was pretty cool to see.”
Donald Trump Gave A Shoutout To Nick Bosa
If Bosa hoped to get Trump’s attention for some of his recent actions, it worked.
On a social media platform, Trump gave Bosa a quick shoutout, saying, “NICK BOSA IS A GREAT PLAYER!”
