The NFL Players Association’s (NFLPA) first NFL Player Team Report Cards were revealed on Wednesday and some teams were outright horrible and that includes a team in the AFC South.
The Jacksonville Jaguars received a grade of F from the NFL Players Association after a survey of more than 1,000 players talked about everything from the state of the team facilities to the treatment of families.
The most shocking revelations in the report card were multiple complaints about a rat infestation.
“As one of the worst-ranked franchises in the league, there was no shortage of complaints shared by the player respondents. When asked what the number one thing they want changed at their facility, the answer was unanimous – get rid of the rats! Players reported that for 3-4 weeks this season, there was a rat infestation in the locker room and laundry hampers.”
The Jaguars also received an F for their treatment of families. The franchise is one of 14 in the league that does not have a family room and doesn’t offer daycare. Wives of players have breastfed on the floor of the public restroom in the stadium, according to the NFLPA.
This is quite shocking news for a team that got hot last season and not only made the playoffs but had an epic comeback in the WildCard round to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers.

General manager Trent Baalke said this week that the Jaguars are “an organization that players now want to play for.”
With their recent “F” grade, that might become true if they can clean some things up.
