Jackson Mahomes has been urged to stop embarrassing his older brother on the back of his recent arrest.
The younger of the Mahomes boys has been in the news even more than his Super Bowl champion brother as he was taken into custody and booked on assault and battery charges this week after being accused of forcibly kissing a restaurant owner in Kansas.
Patrick Mahomes hasn’t commented publicly but he can’t be pleased with his sibling’s antics, especially as he continues to be a model citizen and one of the most likable personalities in sports.
Free agents Will Compton and Taylor Lewan recently discussed Jackson on their “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast, noting how different the brothers are while pleading with the younger one to stop bringing the other down.
“Motherf**ker for the love of God, just stop,” Compton, a linebacker who last played for the Las Vegas Raiders, said.

Lewan, a three-time Pro Bowler who spent eight years with the Tennessee Titans before being released in February, told Jackson he should have some respect.
“He’s (Jackson) gotta have some respect for his brother. I don’t know how Pat handles that situation behind closed doors. But if I’m Pat, I’m definitely saying something,” he noted.
Jackson was released on a $100,000 bond following his arrest. He plans on fighting the charges, but that’s going to be hard to do given the damning footage that surfaced in the wake of the accusations.
